ATOD & Mental Health Advocate
Applications are invited for appointment to the position of Advocate, Mental Health/Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) Program; which will be offered on a part time basis of 30 hours per week, for a 12 month fixed term period. The incumbent will be based in our Launceston office.
The Advocate, Mental Health/ATOD Program will provide information, options, referral to services, and/or direct advocacy support to people with mental health disorders, ATOD misuse and related problems; and to their family members and carers. The incumbent will also have specific responsibilities for program promotion and education, and a range of reporting and administrative duties.
The appointment will be at Level 6 Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, in addition to 9% employer superannuation and the opportunity to salary package.

Elder Abuse Helpline Co-ordinator
Applications are invited for appointment to the position of Elder Abuse Helpline Co-ordinator (EAHC), Older Persons Program which will be offered on a full time basis for a 12 month fixed term period. The incumbent will be based in our Hobart office.
The EAHC will play a key role in the development and implementation of our Elder Abuse Helpline (EAHL). Once established, the primary role of the EAHC will be to provide elder abuse information, advice and referral pathways to callers accessing the EAHL. The EAHC will also co-ordinate the Tasmanian Elder Abuse Network (TEAN) which will ensure that key organisations involved in preventing and responding to elder abuse have a forum for communicating and working together. In addition, the EAHC will take the lead in formulating and delivering ATI's Elder Abuse Education and Promotional Program as well as undertaking a range of reporting and administrative responsibilities required for quality assurance purposes and to meet funding body milestones.
