Disability Advocate
Applications are invited for appointment to the position of Advocate, Disability Program which will be offered on a part time basis of 21 hours per week, for a 6 month fixed term period. The incumbent will be based in our Devonport office.
The Advocate, Disability Program will provide information, options, referral to services, and often more direct advocacy support, to people living with disability and their family members and carers. The incumbent will also have specific responsibilities for promotion and education and will undertake a range of reporting and administrative duties.
The appointment will be at Level 6 Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, in addition to 9% employer superannuation and the opportunity to salary package.
